The history of a legendary tradition
The company LAMBORGHINI Trattori was founded in 1948 in Italy, in Cento, Ferrara. After World War Two, tractors were in high demand and manufacturers were building them out of old military vehicles. Three years later this company developed its first tractors, which were then mass produced. The vaporiser model was developed and patented by LAMBORGHINI Tractor. Other tractors with diesel engines were developed, like off-road crawlers. More factories were opened in 1956, which meant that their product range could easily be developed and expanded. In 1966, LAMBORGHINI Tractor was the first manufacturer that mass produced its tractors with a DC circuit. In the 1980s, the company introduced a new range of tractors with innovative characteristics, like a water-cooled engine. At the end of the 1980s, they introduced a new steering device and an electrically controlled injection engine. Until today, LAMBORGHINI Tractors strives to develop state of the art agricultural tractors.
