The history of the IMA GROUP

The company, “I.M.A. Industria Macchine Automatiche”, was founded in 1961 in Bologna. The company's first machine was used to package powered products into folded envelopes. Over time, the IMA expanded within Europe and founded foreign branches in the USA, China, Japan, Madeira, Brazil and Thailand.
