Built in Germany, the JOHN DEERE 6400 was launched in 1992 as a replacement for the JOHN DEERE 2955. The simple and economical utility tractor was produced until 1998. A low-profile version known as the 6400L was also made. A JOHN DEERE 6400 for sale today is an effective machine at the right price for farm operators looking to save without compromising safety and productivity (see 6400 review).
