The JOHN DEERE 6300 was produced from 1992 to 1997 in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It is part of the 6000 series of utility tractors, smaller than the JOHN DEERE 6400 but larger than the JOHN DEERE 6200. There is an additional model called the 6300L which has a lower profile than the basic JD 6300. The 2-wheel drive chassis is standard but it can be upgraded to a mechanical front wheel drive, 4-wheel drive model. The JOHN DEERE 6300 tractor comes with hydrostatic power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes and a two post foldable roll over protection structure (although a ComfortGard cab can be added as an extra). Additionally, one of three front end loaders can be attached, these being the John Deere 620, 640NSL or 640SL parts.
